IC
Name: Peter Jason Quill - Star Lord
Canon: MCU / Guardians of the Galaxy
Canon point: End of Avengers: Endgame
Age: A bit of a schrodinger's age in this case. Because he was born in 1980 he should really be 43 years old, but because he was dead 5 years and then resurrected, he's physically 38 years old.

History: MCU wiki link

Personality:

Positive Traits

· Laid back

He has a good sense of humor, he's an incurable flirt, and he will defuse a situation with words rather than violence if that's an option, as shown when he convinced Drax not to kill Gamora in prison shortly after they all met and didn't even like each other. While he might not be the perfect leader, he has charisma when he puts some effort into it, to the point that he managed to convince a group of outlaws to join him in defending Xandar or even the Guardians to exist as a team in the first place.

He can make jokes about everything, admires pop culture from the 70-80s, and loves to dance. He likes fun, and pushing life's limits as well as his own. His passion for music is an extension of Peter's deep love for his deceased mother, and he tries to share it with anybody who will listen.

· Pragmatic

Sometimes he plays dumb to deceive others, and he is far more skilled than one would realize at first sight. He's learned from criminals to use any means to his advantage in a fight, and he's good at thinking outside the box and coming up with plans on the fly.  While he might do all it takes to come up on top of a fight, he's never needlessly cruel or destructive unless there's no other way to save himself/his friends. He prefers to stun and knock out his enemies rather than outright kill them if the option is there.

· Team Player

When his emotions don't get the best of him, Peter can be a great team player. He can defend himself in a fight but more often than not, his role it's to hold off the enemy by being a distraction, and he's fine with letting others more suited for the task to take center stage.

He confused Ronan with a ridiculous dance-off until Rocket repaired the Hadron Enforcer to fire it at him, he held off Ego long enough for the bomb to be put in the Celestial's brain, and he worked with Stephen Strange and Tony Stark to trap Thanos and separate him from the Gauntlet in the battle of Titan...

 Negative Traits

· Emotional

Peter isn't the most mature individual nor the ideal personification of a team leader. He started, by his own admission, as a dick and only got better after his interactions with the rest of the Guardians. He was a con artist and a petty criminal, mostly justified by his formative years spent with a group of intergalactic outlaws who considered not killing you on the spot a display of social grace.

Nowadays, he still gets into petty arguments, can be extremely sentimental, egotistical, jealous, sarcastic, and very immature. He has a hard time letting go of the past and often hides his real feelings behind a clown persona, jokes or flirty comments. Peter is also very protective of his friends and loved ones, but that in itself can turn to be more trouble than worth. It leads to outbursts of rage, sadness, and foolish reactions when somebody hurts them. Even Yondu accused him of being too soft-hearted, and years of growing up with the Ravagers and handling their casual abuse didn't manage to change that. It's just how Peter is.

· Prideful

He takes pride in his piloting abilities and other skills, to the point that it might blind his common sense and and instinct of self-preservation, getting him and others in trouble. Especially show in the second movie where he is arguing with Rocket about who's the best at it even as they're being chased by a small army, which causes their ship to eventually get hit and the Guardians almost die in the following crash.

Peter would argue with mad Titans, philanthropist billionaire playboys, and even gods if he thought they were wrong or not doing things the right way, especially if they crossed him first.

· Physical weaknesses

With his Celestial powers gone with the death of his father's Ego, Peter's abilities amount to those of an average human. When most of the time you find yourself fighting gods, aliens with super strength and magic powers, it becomes a liability. He tries to compensate it with his combat training and gadgets, but he's the most physically weaker of the Guardians. Not like that ever stopped him from trying to throw hands with people like Thanos.

Powers/Abilities:

The full list of his Celestial powers is here but After Ego was destroyed, all of them disappeared. What Peter has left is slightly over average endurance/durability because that's part of his physiology as a Human-Celestial hybrid. In Ego's words 'If you kill me, you'll be just like everybody else!', so yeah.

Regret:
Where do I even start, good lord, he has so many. I'm focusing on the biggest one and its repercussions: Knowhere. Peter regrets agreeing to go to the mining colony to stop Thanos from obtaining the Reality Stone instead of grabbing Gamora (and the rest of his team) and flying to the other end of the galaxy. Losing to Thanos there lets to Gamora being captured, the mad titan sacrificing her to obtain the Soul Stone, and Peter losing his marbles after learning about it.

Blinded by his grief, Peter accidentally ruined the plan to separate Thanos from the Infinity Gauntlet and allowed him to later used it to cause the Snap, wiping out half of the universe. So, YMMV in terms of Peter's biggest regret causing the death of the person he loved (Gamora) or half the life in the entire universe. He blames himself for everything, so...

Inventory:

1) This is what Peter's outfit looks like, it includes a pair of Jet boots attachments that allow him to fly short distances and his helmet. The helmet retracts into a small device at the back of his right ear.

2) His zune - A music player. To take music away from Peter you would have to pry it out of his cold, dead hands.

3) Aero-Rigs - A type of jetpack, it gives him flight to any altitude and direction, unlike the jet boots. The aero rigs retracts into a small, flat disc attached to the back of the body/clothes when it isn't activated.

4) The Quad Blasters - Peter uses two and can be attached to the special belt he wears.

5) He also has a ton of small devices and gadgets on him like the Energy bolas, a gravity mine, and useless plasma sphere, and piece of Gamora's Godslayer sword that got broken in two during the battle in Knowhere.
