Surprisingly enough, even though Thor was occasionally recognized -more often on Midgard than anywhere else- he only rarely received compliments on his looks, and even when he did it was along the lines of him being bigger in person, which always amused him a little, because it was as if people expected him to be the same size he looked on their screens.

Which meant that Peter's line of commentary, even if some of it was still half-teasing, got another warm sound out of him, kneading at Peter's nape once more even as he set to work again.

It was the praise and the eye contact as much as it was anything else that had a faint prickle of static building between his fingertips and the other man's skin. It wasn't lightning, it was barely even fully electric, but it was definitely enough for the sensation of it, likely enough to make the finer hairs stand on end. It was most certainly a pleased response if the way Thor's eyes had gone half-closed just watching Peter work was any indication.
