He didn't lift his hand away as Peter moved, mostly because he could tell that Peter liked having it there, but also because he himself liked the illusion of control. He wouldn't actually use that hold to try controlling Peter's movements at all, but the thought that he could pleased him.

Pleased him almost as much as the praise did, even if the praise was halfway to being a tease on its own, he didn't actually mind that, if only because there weren't many people who would tease him like that, "Yes, quite so." His smile twitched into place again, "Though when you say it, it's praise, when I say it, it's boasting. But you aren't wrong."

He hummed, giving another full-handed pinch to Peter's nape, "And the fact that you see that as a challenge and not a detriment does you credit." Which was to say that Peter knew what he was doing, even with that much size to work with, and Thor appreciated it.
